Sometimes you get an idea in your head that sounds great during the planning stages, but looses its glamour when it comes time for the implementation. That was the thought going through my head the morning of Sunday, September 8th 2002 as I stared out a small plane at the ground 10 miles below. Thrity-five seconds of free-fall, and five minutes of paragliding later, I was back to thinking it was a good idea. I was never one to learn from my mistakes.

Nick and I getting ready to board the plane. You feel very safe getting into a plane you know you are jumping out of anyway. Even if it is held together with duct tape.

Free-fall. Yes, I am smiling.
